A rendering of Planet Hollywood’s new Costa Rica resort, set to open in October 2018.

An all-inclusive Planet Hollywood resort is coming to the island of St. Maarten. The beachfront resort will open at the site of the former Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort, which was heavily damaged by Hurricane Irma and later demolished.

The new Planet Hollywood St. Maarten will feature 450 high-end rooms with custom beds, blackout curtains and free Wi-Fi. A variety of dining options are planned, including Guy Fieri’s burger joint. There will also be a gym, a conference center, and a PH Spa.

Guests upgrading to Planet Hollywood’s Star Class™ experience get upgraded amenities like a private beach and concierge service.

This marks the third expansion for Planet Hollywood in the Caribbean region. The brand is opening a resort in Costa Rica in October of 2018 and Cancun in 2019.
