Aruba’s Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, a popular adults-only resort located on Eagle Beach, has enhanced its wellness offerings with a new custom program focusing on nutrition, physical fitness, mental wellness, and mind/body balance.
Guests submit a questionnaire to resort wellness specialist Isabel Struve-Rasmijn prior to arrival. She then uses this assessment to design a custom plan for each guest.
Struve-Rasmijn provides nutritional counseling, meal suggestions and restaurant recommendation to make sure guests are meeting their nutritional goals. The resort’s Elements Restaurant offers healthy options, including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian menus, along with the regular menu. If guests are dining offsite, Bucuti handles reservations and advises restaurants of guests’ dietary needs.
For exercise, private training sessions in Bucuti’s state fitness center, beach walks, and nearby yoga classes help with specific targets. Guided hikes in Arikok National Park, beach tennis lessons and water sports promote fitness through recreation. Bucuti arranges reservations and transfers making the process easy.
Mental wellbeing is also a focus of the custom program. Bucuti’s team understands the healing properties of the sea, and encourages guests to go to the beach right after arrival to begin soaking in the natural surroundings. On land, activities like Qi Gong classes on Eagle Beach aid harmony and balance.
The wellness program features suggested body treatments from the resort’s Purun Spa that customize both the sensory elements and the treatment setting—inside or beachside–to allow guests to fully relax and achieve mind-body balance.
