If you’re headed to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, don’t miss Lime Out, the fun floating taco boat located off the beach in Coral Bay Harbor.
These aren’t run-of-the-mill tacos, either. The floating lime green bar serves an impressive variety of tacos, including ceviche and fresh Mahi tacos for seafood fans; short rib and chipotle BBQ chicken tacos for meat lovers; and even a jerk-roasted cauliflower taco to please the plant eaters.
Depending on the taco, garnishes can include micro greens, radishes, cilantro, pickled red onions, guacamole, chipotle cole slaw, and more.
Lime Out also offers a bar menu, including champagne, rosé, shots of vodka and Patron, and a craft cocktail menu featuring cocktails infused with fresh juices and liquor. A few highlights include The Danger, which combines fresh watermelon and lime juices with a chili-infused tequila, and Dielan’s Lemonade, a blend of fresh-squeezed lemonade, vodka and ginger beer.
Non-alcoholic beverages are impressive here too, including hibiscus sun tea, passion fruit juice, and cucumber lime soda.
Lime Out is accessible by boat, and provides large floating ‘lily pads’ for enjoying tacos and drinks.
