The beloved El Conquistador Resort is reopening in Puerto Rico this month, and to celebrate the resort is offering complimentary self-parking and access to Coqui Waterpark to all guests arriving before September 30, 2021.

El Conquistador Resort reopens May 21 following a nearly four year closure (the resort suffered hurricane damage in 2017). The property will no longer operate under the Waldorf Astoria brand, however the resort plans to offer many of the amenities guests love — including the Coqui Waterpark and lazy river, the signature Arthur Hills golf course, five restaurants and more.

The Hightide Rooftop Bar provides a swanky spot for tropical cocktails, and guests can also enjoy light bites and drinks at the swim-up bar. Las Brisas Courtyard Cafe, Cafe Bella Vista and a coffee house round out the dining options.

Rooms at El Conquistador Resort have been renovated and feature deep soaking tubs and private balconies with great cliffside views. Perks also include free WiFi, LCD televisions with DVD players and coffee makers.

The resort’s private Palomino Island is also making a comeback, although slightly delayed with a planned debut in late summer.
