Kimpton is opening a new, luxe all-inclusive resort in Mexico! Set to open in early 2025, Kimpton Tres Rios is the brand’s first-ever all-inclusive resort, offering everything from tranquil swim-up suites and lush nature trails to gourmet dining and multiple pools—all set against the stunning backdrop of Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
The resort is set within the Tres Rios Nature Park, which covers 326 acres and includes three freshwater rivers, jungle, mangrove forests, and coastal dunes. This location offers guests a rare chance to experience diverse ecosystems, explore hidden cenotes, and enjoy scenic trails, all within the resort grounds.
The resort includes 355 rooms, with upscale features like swim-out suites that connect directly to private plunge pools. Rooms include plush bedding, soaker tubs, fully stocked minibars, and 24-hour room service.
Kimpton Tres Rios also boasts seven dining options, including Kotori, an Asian fusion restaurant, and Sabina, which offers a modern twist on Mexican cuisine. Five bars and lounges, including an adults-only poolside lounge, can be found throughout the resort.
Beyond dining, the resort offers four swimming pools, a fitness center, and a spa inspired by Mayan traditions. Families will find programs for kids, while adults can enjoy specialized wellness activities like yoga.
The new resort is conveniently located between two of Mexico’s major resort towns. It’s just a 15-minute drive north of Playa del Carmen, offering easy access to the town’s vibrant beaches, shopping, and nightlife. Additionally, Tres Rios is about 45 minutes south of Cancún, making it a short trip from Cancún International Airport.
