Sandals Royal Bahamian reopens this January, and while the adults-only resort isn’t technically ‘new,’ it has undergone major renovations and features new swim-up suites, nine new dining options, and a reimagined offshore private island.
Beachfront rooms and suites at the resort have been updated to include spa-like bathrooms and oversized balconies overlooking the ocean, while the all-new Island Village features private and romantic villas complete with plunge pools and butlers. New swim-up suites (our favorite!) have been added to the all-inclusive resort, with access to a river pool right from the patio.
There are an amazing nine new dining options at Sandals Royal Bahamian, including three fun and trendy food trucks located in the new Coconut Grove – an outdoor lounge area with live entertainment. There’s a food truck with coffee and pastries, another with an Italian menu, and a third serving locally inspired tacos and seafood.
Other new restaurants include La Plume French restaurant, Soy sushi bar, and Butch’s Island Chop House; plus a British pub, a seafood restaurant, and a Caribbean fusion restaurant.
The resort’s private offshore island, Sandals Barefoot Cay has been glammed up with private cabanas, a pool with swim-up bar, a new seafood restaurant, and a Zen garden with fire pits.
Sandals Royal Bahamian is located in Nassau, Bahamas and officially reopens January 27, 2022.
