Grand Cayman is getting a new luxury resort, scheduled to open in 2021.

Mandarin Oriental, Grand Cayman will be an exclusive 100-room beachfront resort, with 89 branded Residences at Mandarin Oriental.

The luxury property will be located at St. James Point on the southern side of the island, just 15 minutes from the airport.

This is the second Caribbean resort for Mandarin Oriental, which operates the ultra-luxe Canouan resort in St. Vincent & The Grenadines.

Highlights of Mandarin Oriental, Grand Cayman include spacious rooms with sea views, and five restaurants and bars, including a farm to table dining experience.

The resort will offer wellness options including the Spa at Mandarin Oriental, a gym, several outdoor pools, and tennis courts. Landscaped walking and cycling trails, as well as a beach club with water sports will be available.

Facilities will be available for weddings, banquets and corporate events.
