Viva Resorts by Wyndham is opening a new all-inclusive resort, Viva Miches by Wyndham, on December 11, 2024. The resort is in Miches, a lush, oceanfront town on the northeastern coast of the Dominican Republic, near Playa Esmeralda.
The new resort will feature 538 accommodations with garden, ocean, and oceanfront views. Some rooms will offer private plunge pools.
Guests can enjoy five dining options: an international buffet and four à la carte restaurants serving Latin fusion, Asian, Oceanic, and Mediterranean cuisines.
Viva Miches by Wyndham will offer various amenities and activities, including an expansive pool with a swim-up bar, a spa, dance classes, nightly entertainment, the Viva Vibe party program, and a weekly craft market.
Guests can also participate in nature excursions to Los Haitises National Park, Laguna Limón, seasonal whale-watching, and trips to Montaña Redonda.
A second phase is planned to expand the resort to approximately 750 rooms.
The resort is located 1.5 hours from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), making it accessible for international travelers.
