Sandals South Coast is the hottest new Jamaica resort. While it’s not technically new (it was formerly known as Sandals Whitehouse Jamaica), the resort has been rebranded with cool new amenities like an all-inclusive sushi restaurant on the beach and an open-air jerk shack.

What’s even more exciting are the overwater additions coming to the resort. Sandals South Coast will be the second resort to have overwater bungalows. Twelve bungalows are planned, similar to the overwater suites that debuted at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Montego Bay.

Sandals’ first-ever overwater bar, Latitudes, is also planned for Sandals South Coast. Latitudes will feature hammocks hanging over the water and a floating ocean-based swim-up bar, which will make its way by while you’re right in the ocean.

An overwater wedding chapel will be built at Sandals South Coast, similar to the chapel in St. Lucia. The new over-the-water wedding chapel will feature panoramic water views and a glass floor aisle.

Sandals South Coast is located in a nature preserve on the southern coast of Jamaica.
