A new resort is opening on Bimini in the Bahamas and we’re loving the details.

The new resort from Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts and Island Developers will feature suites with private terraces and plunge pools, plus authentic Maldives-style overwater bungalows – the first overwater suites in the Bahamas!

Located 20 minutes by seaplane ride from Miami, Banyan Tree illa Bahamas will be an eco-conscious resort, with luxe amenities like oceanside meditations at the Banyan Tree Spa, unique culinary pop-ups and curated music events.

The boutique resort will have 50 rooms, plus 54 three- and four-bedroom residential villas.

Located just 48 nautical miles off Florida’s coast, Bimini is the closest Bahamian island to the United States, accessible by ferry, boat, plane and helicopter. The out island is known for its crystal-clear waters, fishing, colorful coral reefs and more.

Stay tuned for updates on this amazing new resort!
