Sandals is bringing two-story overwater villas to its newest all-inclusive resort in St. Vincent and the Grenadines – and we’re packing our bags!
Originally destined to become a Beaches Resort, the company is transforming the former Buccament Bay Resort into an adults-only Sandals resort instead.
Sandals Saint Vincent will open on March 27, 2024, and travelers will be able to book the resort with just a $49 pp deposit through Sandals’ layaway program.
The romantic resort features two-story overwater villas that provide fantastic island views from a second-floor deck. These innovative overwater suites also feature see-through glass floors, soaking tubs, and hanging daybeds.
Also notable are the Butler villas with private pools, spacious swim-up suites with soaking tubs, and fitness suites with dedicated exercise space complete with weights and fitness bikes.
There will be 12 restaurants at the resort, ranging from a sushi bar with fresh hand rolls, a healthy eatery with green bowls, and theme restaurants including a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, and more.
Guests can enjoy five bars, including a rum bar and a swim-up bar.
Additional perks at Sandals Saint Vincent include five pools, three hot tubs, and a SCUBA pool (and SCUBA diving is included in the all-inclusive rate – a perk we love at Sandals!).

A little about St. Vincent and the Grenadines – this lesser-known island chain in the Eastern Caribbean is great for couples. It’s less developed than more popular islands and has a true ‘tropical island’ vibe with crystal blue water, white sandy beaches, and lush, mountainous rainforest.
Besides lounging on the beach, guests can hike through the rainforest to visit La Soufriere volcano, explore the waters surrounding Anchor Reef to admire the black coral unique to St. Vincent and visit historic sites and botanical gardens.
Despite being a more remote destination, direct flights are offered daily from Miami and are just under four hours. Sandals provides an airport lounge and complimentary airport transfers to all guests.
