Sandals announced that it’s temporarily closing all Sandals and Beaches Resorts from the period of March 30 – May 15, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“In these unprecedented times, and now more than ever, the safety and health of our valued guests is of paramount importance,” writes Sandals’ founder and CEO, Gordon ‘Butch’ Stewart in a message to guests on Sandals’ website.

Stewart also urges guests not to call in regarding upcoming bookings, stating that team members will be personally reaching out to help reschedule vacations.

Ending on a positive note, Stewart reminds readers that the “Caribbean is resilient. We have always come back better, stronger and more passionate than ever. We promise this time will be no exception!”

Stewart also notes that Sandals will use this time to make further enhancements to their resorts — something we always look forward to!

As mentioned, please do not call Sandals to inquire about upcoming vacation plans – team members are working hard to contact every one individually. In the meantime, browse these Sandals Resorts for vacation inspiration.

Most importantly — stay healthy and safe!
