St. Croix’s Divi Carina Bay All-Inclusive Beach Resort & Casino has a reopening date! The island’s only all-inclusive resort has been closed since receiving heavy damage from Hurricane Maria last year, but is slated to reopen during in 2020 following a complete renovation.
Editor’s note: the reopening date has shifted from Fall 2019 to 2020
What are we looking forward to at the new and improved Divi Carina Bay? The large lobby bar, the updated pool area with cabanas, and an upgraded casino with late-night snacks!
Other new amenities include a water sports center, beach palapas and loungers, four restaurants, and a TV lounge and gaming area with slot machines.
All rooms and villas at the resort will be updated with a clean color palette and modern furnishings.
Divi Carina Bay is packed full of activities for the entire family, including miniature golf, horseshoes, hiking, arts & crafts, yoga, bingo, Zumba and water aerobics.
The new water sports center will keep guests busy with paddleboards, kayaks, peddle boats and Sunfish sailboats, and at night guests can test their luck at the onsite casino or venture out and experience St. Croix’s nightlife.
