Set on its own private peninsula in the Virgin Islands National Park, Caneel Bay is a luxury resort featuring seven white sand beaches, complimentary water sports, a fitness center and a pool.
There are 166 rooms at the resort, all featuring balconies or patios, fully stocked mini-bars, a sitting area, and air conditioning. Rooms offer views of the ocean, courtyard or garden, and are furnished with Caribbean stone and original artwork.
Onsite dining options at Caneel Bay Resort include Turtle Bay Estate House, which serves contemporary American cuisine. Also on site is the Wine Room at Turtle Bay, offering 265 types of wine with a matching prix-fixe, seven-course menu. ZoZo’s at the Sugar Mill is perched atop the resort’s 18th-century sugar mill ruins and offers an Italian menu. There’s also a sushi bar and a coffee shop serving homemade gelato.
Additional amenities at Caneel Bay include a studio with yoga and fitness classes, massage cabanas, afternoon tea, ten tennis courts and an extensive children’s program.
How to get to Caneel Bay Resort
Fly into Cyril E. King Airport (STT), St. Thomas. There is a special reception area at the airport for guests of Caneel Bay. Transportation to the resort is available for a fee, and includes transfer to the ferry dock in St. Thomas, the ferry ride, and transfer from the ferry dock in St. John to Caneel Bay.
