The all-inclusive Catalonia La Romana is located in Bayahibe, on the southern coast of the Dominican Republic.

The resort has over 400 guest rooms ranging from standard garden view to honeymoon junior suites with separate living room. All rooms have mini bars, balconies or patios, free Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Bathrooms have rainfall shower heads and complimentary toiletries.

The resort is all-inclusive, so meals and drinks are included in the price. There are some limitations on specialty restaurants —  a two-night minimum stay is required, and each guest gets one dinner in each a la carte restaurant for the duration of their stay. There is also a tapas restaurant for VIP guests only.

Dining options include a buffet restaurant, a pizzeria, a steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, and a Caribbean cuisine restaurant. Bars, lounges, and snack bars are located throughout the resort.

Catalonia La Romana has a spa offering massage, beauty treatments, and salon services. Other activities include non-motorized water sports (note: snorkeling is not included here), tennis, and an introductory scuba lesson at the resort pool. There’s a gym and separate clubs for kids and teens.

Additional amenities include a 24-hour front desk, multilingual staff, and laundry facilities.

How to get to Catalonia La Romana

Fly into La Romana International Airport, Dominican Republic (LRM). The resort is about 20 minutes from the airport. Transportation can be arranged online through the resort, or on your own. Free onsite parking is available.
