What we love about this resort:

  • Fine wines, rum tastings, and Drappier Brut champagne are included with your stay
  • Unwind with a class in the shaded yoga and meditation pavilion or a signature island-inspired treatment at the spa
  • The villas are worth writing home about, with amenities like a private beach, waterfront infinity pools, and pool tables

Jumby Bay is the definition of paradise, located on a private island two miles from the shores of Antigua. There are no cars – just beaches and winding bicycle paths, perfect for exploring and island hopping to neighboring Barbuda and Montserrat.

Every room comes with bicycles for exploring the area, and accommodations range from chic oceanview suites to charming beach villas with outdoor pools to private residences with four to nine bedrooms.

Guests can enjoy fine dining at The Estate House, casual meals and fresh fruit juice at the Pool Grille, all-day dining on the Verandah, cocktails with a side of historic charm at 1830 Bar, and Latin American and Caribbean snacks at the Beach Shack.

Choose from three outdoor pools, enjoy water sports like wakeboarding and Hobie cats, attend a cooking demonstration, or join in scheduled activities like nature walks and daily fitness classes.

Children can enjoy activities at clubs for kids and teens, while adults unwind at Jumby Bay Spa or play a match on the tennis courts.

How to get to Jumby Bay Island

Fly into V. C. Bird International Airport, Antigua (ANU). The resort has its own car and catamaran service to transfer guests between the airport and the resort. It’s about a three-minute drive from the airport to the ferry dock, and then a seven-minute ferry ride to the private island.
