This resort is undergoing renovations following hurricane damage and is scheduled to reopen in February 2019.
Situated on Maho Beach overlooking the Caribbean, all-inclusive Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino features a large pool with cascading waterfalls, four tennis courts, a lively children’s program, a swim-up pool bar, five restaurants and bars, a casino, and a nightclub.
As part of the renovations in 2018, the resort was updated with a new contemporary design throughout public spaces, restaurants and guest rooms.
A new room category was added as well: The Loft Suites, featuring ocean views, balconies, an elevated bedroom with a king bed, and a living room located beneath with sitting area and a pull out sofa.
Casino Royale boasts 30 game tables, 400 slot machines, and a poker room. The nightly outdoor movies for kids and adults, and daytime activities as snorkeling, tennis, and pool tables can be enjoyed by the guests.
Guest can choose between The Point offering tropical seafood and steak; the Ocean Terrace serving all-day buffets; Palms Grill, a beach-front café, for lunch and dinner; the Pizzeria Napoli for hand-crafted pizzas; and The Ascot Pub & Sports Bar for English pub food.
The family-friendly resort has a kids’ club with supervised indoor and outdoor activities. Children five years and under stay for free (including meals), and there are special rates for kids ages six through 12.
