Meliá Cartagena Planned for Colombia

Melia Hotels plans to debut its fourth property on the Caribbean coast of Colombia in 2017. Melia Cartagena will join hotels in Medellin and Bogota that are franchised under the Tryp brand.

The adults-only Melia Cartagena will have 154 guest rooms, a destination restaurant and buffet, a bar, spa, beach blub, and rooms for meetings and events.

The beachfront hotel will also be near the 18-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, and just 15 minutes from the historic center of Cartagena de Indias

Cartagena de Indias, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site, has been gaining popularity among travelers for its rich history, colorful plazas and beautiful beaches.
