The new Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico has relaunched as a luxe resort with some impressive features — a sushi bar, suites with hot tubs on the balconies, and the largest lagoon-style pool in Puerto Rico.

The property, formerly known as the Gran Melia Hotel and The Resort at Coco Beach, underwent an extensive renovation this summer to become a full service resort.
According to Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve Puerto Rico, the lagoon pool is the largest on the island, complete with swim-up bar and in-pool lounge chairs. There’s also a kids’ pool and a quiet pool.
Other new highlights include three restaurants serving steak, ceviche and Puerto Rican cuisine; a lobby bar; spacious suites with balconies (some with hot tubs!); and onsite golf and spa.
